BitTitan started 11 years ago in a Kirkland garage belonging to Geeman Yip. While our solutions serve customers in over 150 countries, the Eastside has always been home.
Today, BitTitan is proud to announce the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce named BitTitan the 2018 Eastside Business of the Year. This category was reserved for proven, successful organizations with over 100 employees and collecting more than $10 million in annual revenue. BitTitan was the youngest candidate in a very competitive category featuring five other prominent local businesses. Winners were announced at an awards gala at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue Thursday evening. They are also featured in the Eastside Entrepreneur Magazine for 2018.
“The strength and caliber of Eastside businesses continues to build, and events like this showcase how dedicated these groups are to innovation and service,” said Yip. “The entire BitTitan team is very grateful to the Chamber for the honor of the 2018 Business of the Year. Our past, present, and future is rooted on the Eastside, and we’re excited to continue our rapid growth alongside others in this community.”
The annual Eastside Business Awards program recognizes outstanding Eastside businesses that uphold a strong commitment to quality, community, and innovation. These characteristics, when combined with creativity, talent, and leadership, set great companies apart from the pack.
In addition to Eastside Business of the Year, the Chamber handed out four other honors:
- Eastside Small Business of the Year: Seattle Humane, an independent, nonprofit animal shelter committed to saving lives and completing families through pet adoption. They recently opened a new 57,000 sq. ft. animal shelter and veterinary teaching hospital.
- Innovative Product or Service of the Year: Polyverse, a cyber security solutions provider behind the Moving Target Defense technologies that puts an end to panic patching.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit – Startup of the Year: Lincoln South Food Hall, a fast casual culinary food hall nestled inside the newly built Lincoln Square South Mall for a unique, quick serve choices from a fresh, local menu.
- Chairmen’s Community Pillar Award: Overlake Medical Center, emergency, acute-care services that save lives every single day and preventative care for residents throughout the Eastside area.
